TROY, Mich., September 2026. Lily Hospice has become a member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce, joining the local businesses, nonprofits and employers that make up one of Oakland County’s most active business communities.
Lily Hospice was founded in 2021 and named for Lillian, the founder’s grandmother, who spent her final month at home in hospice care. The hospice is Medicare-certified and ACHC-accredited, and it brings nursing, aide, social work, chaplain, medication and equipment support to homes, assisted living and memory care communities across the three counties. Its office is at 2125 Butterfield Dr, Suite 299, near Big Beaver Road and I-75.
“Troy is our home, and most of the families we care for are someone’s neighbor, employee or coworker,” said a Lily Hospice spokesperson. “Joining the Chamber is a way to meet the people who run Troy’s businesses before one of their employees needs us, so they know there is a hospice down the road that answers the phone.”
What Lily brings to fellow Chamber members
- A guide for employers. When an employee’s parent is dying explains FMLA and Michigan’s Earned Sick Time Act in plain language and lists low-cost ways managers can help.
- Free resources for families. The “Is It Time?” guide, the Metro Detroit Hospice Directory of all 104 hospices serving the three counties, and directories of nursing homes, assisted living and grief support groups.
- A resource for HR. Chamber members can call (248) 955-5100 with questions about hospice for an employee’s family.
